So I just got Triple.Fi's... - Page 2

The two IEM's I currently own are Triple Fi Pro and UM3X. UM3X are superior (at least unamped they are) but I still greatly enjoy the TFP's.

For me, the preference is the other way round (both amped) but I have to say the UM3X increasingly impressed me for the time I had them (loaned pair). I may well spring for a used pair in the near future, once I see how CK100 fare.

I had problems getting them to seal properly so I have sent them off to China to get them customized!!

That's why I want to get the UM3's instead...more comfort, better SQ (IMO) and a better cable to boot.

I have the TripleFis and the Shure SE530s. I like the TripleFis more for modern electronic music which accentuates the bass and upper registers and the SE530s for classical and other acoustical music. If I were you, I'd listen to them and see if you like them. Who knows, you might not like the Westones if you get them.

O REALLY?? Anyone trying them with a good amp, like the Pico with an Imod as DAP??? I find them far surpassing anything else without going to customization. Fit is a bugger, though
