i just recently bought AD500 and a creative XFI 5.1 Surround usb soundcard..

so..basically i just plug my headphone to 3.5mm jack...

but i wonder if i can make use of other slots maybe to maximize the output sound quality?

the soundcard got
- line in
- mic in
- headphone jack
- line out : rear , left , right , c/sub
- optical out

how can i use my ad500 to hook it up to the optical out? and does it gives any improvement on the sound quality?
