I'm looking for something that I'll call a disposable DAP. I'd like to spend maybe $10. 1GB or maybe 2 would be plenty. This is for those projects and activities when I would never jeopardize a decent player.... but if this one gets filthy or crushed it wouldn't matter. I'll use it for exteme workouts, cutting firewood, washing the car, that sort of hazardous behavior. Old 1st gen Nano with burnt out backlight? Perfect. Shuffle or other unit with no display? Great. Older Creative Zen Micro with a scatched up screen? I'll take it. Generic piece of crap that still works? Nice.
All I ask is that it actually hold a charge for a few hours, and play music. I know most people around here have stuff laying around that they haven't even looked at in eyars. Do me a favor and offer it up please!
