That dude Rakyth posted this first:

I want some of those audio technica clip-ons because they look comfortable and solid, in-ears falling out was an issue, but they were discontinued back in '09 and I can't find a stock of them anywhere

actually, I heard some skull candies

didn't like them

heard some sony MDR-v150

weren't the best things, but the people around me heard just as much as I did, so I couldn't use them

bought PK2's with acoustibuds

loved them, nobody could ever say they heard my music, even on full blast; sitting next to me.

"save up for them" implies an income

My 'budget' for this year is ~$125, assuming I get money for christmas

My needs are $250: graphics card, headphones, PSU

the graphics card is an urgent need as it's causing my computer to bluescreen almost constantly, but not one I can afford period this christmas if at all

as a matter of fact my computer bluescreened in between this post and my last one

better print more money

17, jr year, equipment: V-Moda m-80 and shure se315. I have so many arguments a day with people at my school who say beats are they best headphones ever.

17 and a senior.

How many of you high school students are planning to go to college?
Also, all my gear can be found in my sig.

I try to balance Audio funding with Video, Computers, gaming and school/life so I don't have super high end stuff. Yet.

15 and freshmen. My headphones are SRH440. After research I found them to be good sounding but uncomfortable. It feels like wearing a vise after time. Everyone else stock apple earbuds at max volume.

I guess wearing glasses counteracts the clamping force a bit for me since I hardly notice it. That or I wear them a bit loose, with the cups as far down and forward as I can get them.

Not a high schooler, BTW (thank GOD those days are long over biggrin.gif). I just saw the SRH440 mentioned and was kind of surprised, since they seem to be largely forgotten around here. I'm glad to see so many younger people finding good sound. When I was 15 I had the Sony V700, which was the Beats before there was Beats.

Also, looking at the date this started, I just realized many of the original posters are no longer in high school (I hope--maybe some of them are super seniors).
