Just letting everyone know that due to a spontaneous trip to Chicago I won't be attending. I will however be going to the Chicago/Milwaukee meet!

my brother in-law is having a "couples" wedding shower tomorrow - if i call in sick at work, i have to attend. sorry, i won't be able to make the meet, (and i won't be calling in sick ). i soooo wanted to hear the Stax and W5000.

op, perhaps we should do this in another time. There will be only so few of us that I do not feel the meeting is going to be helpful. Thanks for putting this together.

I think there is still some value in having this meet (plus, we're a little close to the time of the meet to cancel). This was intended to be a little more low-key than some of the other meets, as the number of Head-Fiers in the area seems to be on the low side anyway.

Anyway, I should be there around noon. See you there!

Well, in the end, the only people that showed up were DarthMarth and myself, and neither of us took any pictures. It ended up primarily being a comparison between the electrostatic and dynamic headphones that we had brought.

And my single-band headphones versus his double-band ones. It was quite informative for me and I'm glad I came. I'm sorry I didn't have more interesting stuff for you to try. Glad the HD-555s were enjoyable.

Oh dear I missed this by two weeks...

I am a new student at UofM. Came from Malaysia with my HD580 and some nice stuff. Also know a classmate with K702 and headroom amp + dac.

Here's hoping for another meet soon
