FLAC and ID3 tags in EAC - Page 2

Frhed - Free hex editor

Unzip it and open the app...drag a flac file into the window and on the left you'll see readable text a few inches down...that's the FLAC tags. The ID3 tags I'm seeing are all the way down at the very bottom so check there as well.

I know what happened now. I went in to check the box that keeps the flac window from popping up during compression...gets annoying after a few hundred times....that check box is directly underneath the ID3 tag check box.

Hi!

I´ve had the same problem as I started to rip my CD collection using EAC.
Everytime I tried to edit the Tags with MP3TAG and then loaded the files in Foobar, the Tags seemed to have gone lost ...

I tooked some time (and googling) to find out what might had been the failure.

Since then, no probs anymore

But thanks to this tip with the MP3TAG editor delete/undo scheme.
I´ve tested my whole library, and definately found some tracks which still had ID3 tags in.

Seems as it was a good change to use WavPack for my library, so ...
