So i think it'd be cool to have the apple logo on the outside, so I can tell people I have the ibuds and they're better than an hd800.
He sure does do custom art. You won't need to read past post #1 to find a link to some fantastic examples of artwork.

yes, thanks, I had already forgotten !!! I sent my form 8 days ago.

So hard to wait. With my Shure gone and no portable headphones at all, it's really driving me crazy I miss my music.

Good to see people are getting theirs.

No worries, you certainly won't be disappointed.

I will post impressions later but initially after about 2 hours listening I would say that these are the finest sounding earphones I have every used. I sold my Denon AH-D7000's to fund these and I can say without a shadow of a doubt I have not one ounce of regret.

It's gonna be a late one tonight....

Hey it looks like the JH13 doesn't use three dual element driver but infact two dual elements and two single elements. Those low drivers do seem like the 22955's which i have in my 10X3.

quite a difference from UM3X too, but I do have to say that the Westones are not disgraced. the difference is not small, but its not 'night and day'

thanks!! yeah I lov'em!! felt like doing something a little off-beat; I took a risk and i'm glad I did. i'm putting the moebius strip vector art I posted some pages back; but will play with it a little more now that I dont have to account for the human factor. can add more detail, I still want it iconic though since there isnt much space and they already look amazing
I actually prefer that my art was hand-drawn. That's how calligraphy is supposed to look

Also re: shipping, I think we should cut them some slack on pricing. It's part and parcel of how companies earn money, after all, and % wise this is really very small. I was initially upset because I thought I was paying for something that I didn't get wrt shipping- not that I was paying too much.

I'm coming from the UM3x too, and imo these are night and day. Instrument separation is just as good, sound-stage is wider, but everything blends in a very musical way and doesn't feel detached at all.

Oh and lastly I really love the carbon fiber case! I know some have said it's a bit big, and it is, but in my mind that makes me less likely for it to drop out of my bag/ for me to misplace it. More importantly, while it is a tad big in dimensions, it's extremely light so I don't find it carrying around a hassle.

i love the carbon fiber case. It's very sleek, and eye catching and well....manly and good looking. It's very well built, and because it's carbon fiber that means that if a burglar comes you can smack him with it...multiple times. The only thing i don't like about it is, it needs to have strong magnets so it stays shut in a 'stickier" way. I would think that if you dropped the case on the open end side, it's bound to open. Also, there's just sooo much empty space in it. Westone gives you Oto-ease, a Anti-Humidifier and a cloth in the case, while you get absolutely nothing from JHA except the extremely cool case, a cleaning tool, and the monitors. I like how they put in the space for a player, but i would appreciate it if there was a cloth, anti-humidifier and lubricant to go in the box.

If you haven't done so already, go and listen to Allison Krauss and Union Station Live.

What's that you say? You don't like that kind of stuff? I DON'T CARE! GO LISTEN NOW!

Man, I tell you l am in the concert hall with the band and they couldn't sound better.

I just built some of my hyper pure dead soft cables for the JH13's. They aren't something I would want to walk around with as they are too stiff but for working at the desktop or for stationary listening they bring a whole new level to the sound. They strip away any remaining resistance to the musical signal. I find I also listen at lower volumes as the detail is all there and the sound so dynamic that there is no need for the additional volume.

Well, I haven't received my JH13s yet but just got the iQube v2 today. To my expectation, it's a superb amp. Dead silent background and very, very neutral, without any color. Comparing with my experience with the P51, SR71A and Pico, the v2 is simply a step above.

I'm pretty sure this will sound stunning with the JH13s. Somene should try this soon And yes, it's very silent and no hiss at all.

Have you managed to compare the pico DAC and the iqube v2 DAC?
I only have the Pico DAC/Amp, not the DAC only. I personally think the Pico DAC is better than that of the v2 but the amp in the v2 is better than that of the Pico.
My only issue with iQube is that it's not nearly as fast as other amps like Predator.
The Pred is fast but too dark and not a good choice for the JH13s.

I am hyped for JH-13 pro and getting my ear impression tomorrow but can someone please confirm do I need to use the amp to bring its full potenital?

I am will be using just x1061 dap and if I have to carry the amp around I don't think I can use this.
