Ya, keep in mind that when you put in the IEM, it'll be slanted. It seems you're lining your picture with the long side. You can look at pictures with the IEMs inserted for reference.

"If" you want my opinion, you should look at getting another impression done, order a set of earplugs and when you get them back, draw out the design you want on them with a marker and then if you like it, copy it and send in the design to be done. Might be better to make a mistake on a set of $70 earplugs than a pair of $1400 IEM's.

The price is $1100 U.S., I was thinking Canadian prices which even that is too high now with our Canadian Dollar doing much better.

$1400? Well I suggest also emailing any possible designs to Jerry he knows what works and what doesn't

Well, I, too, had the opportunity to spend sometime at the JH booth along with my very own ue10pros, esw10jpn, ipod-6g-alo-sxc-Mustang. I am very familiar with this setup of mine as I have listened to them over a long period of time. In fact I have two sets of ue10pros and since I acquired the esw10jpn last december, I have stopped using the ue 10pros because I think the esw10 is more involving and musical and has a bigger sound stage.

So Jerry asked me to start with the jh10 and then the jh11 and then the jh13. For each version, I did the ABC swtich between JHs and ue10pros and esw10. I wasn't as impress with the jh10 as compared to the ue10 pros or the esw10. It just sound thinner and not as defined for my taste. But the jump to jh11 clearly beat the ue10 pros (not even close). The difference is clear and easily discerned. the JH 11 seems to me has fuller sound, better soundstage and sound separation as compare to the ue10. The ue10 really dimmed in the presence of jh11 and somewhat dry when compare to the jh11. The difference between the jh11 and jh13 is about 20 percent. when jh11 and jh 13 are compared to the esw10, it is a lot more closer. Both jhs may put you closer to the music but the difference is not as clear as the ue10.

I have been tempted to buy the ue11 and I am glad I did not pull the trigger. I clearly think the jh11 and jh13 is a clear upgrade to the ue10 series and for iem, it is the best I have heard.

informative and interesting....

JH5 to JH11? argh...

Thanks, Jalo. If the JH10 is clearly inferior to the UE10, that doesn't bode well for the JH5.
