Nice! Haven't listened to them in quite a while. I'm thinking that OSI - Blood might have to be my first listen with the JH13. It is my favorite album of '09 so far, and it has such great sound quality for a rock album these days.

I think the best thing about the JH13 is the speed and the dynamics, it really gives you that energy every time the drumstick hits the snare, everytime the guitar is being strummed, and every time the bass is being plucked.

Even for Clifford Brown, as he blazes through his bebop solos, you can hear every note and learn how great a technique he had and how he brought up the energy of the music by changing his volume and the way he played.

If you love your music, and love analysing it to no end (even if you don't like analysing and just like to enjoy), these earphones just bring you to another world.

I think the thing about Live Music nowadays in the market squares sound a bit off because of one thing - acoustics. Where the recordings usually get direct feeds or are studio recorded, giving you amazing ability for details and dryness to get every single note and every single peak in the music, and brings the music more to life because it's like you're part of it.

=) That's just my opinion though.

My AH-D7000's went on Monday so I'm almost there. I've ordered them and get my impressions this afternoon. I am like a kid waiting for Christmas Day!!

Almost forgot to post this pic here:

BTW, not only are the JH13's incredible for straight headphone listening music, they are an incredible match for the Smyth Research SVS Realiser.

Surreal experience. Row Jimmy by the Grateful Dead on Dead Set #2.

Those smoky black look real fine.

I can see you're going through your whole Dead collection - my guess is it will still take you some time to go over the whole thing, judging by the amount of live recordings out there. :-)

Every good album you've ever heard will sound better then you've ever heard it with these babies. Its crazy. Its like a time machine where you go back in time when each record was JUST released and you're hearing your favorite record for the first time.

Yeah. JHA may not have the best equipment for applying the art (yet) but they do have the state-of-the-art equipment for digitally scanning the impressions and building the shells. They should have some of the lowest return rates in the industry.

They look awsome! How are they in comparision with ES3X with classical music and overall? Will you still use the ES3X? Which one is your favourite?

P.S.
Which one is more comfortable and what are the diffrences between the two?
