Hi, yes most definitely. See: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f90/ni...ml#post5845424

I did not even lobby for that custom title, It just popped up one day!

Just wondering, when did they receive your impressions? They got mine June 15 and I'm still waiting to hear anything about my pair.
I gave my impressions to Jerry at Can Jam, thanks to the generous Uncle Wilson doing them on the spot.

FWIW Jerry told me that his goal is to have the turnaround time down to a week after they receive impressions, by the end of this month.

I hope yours come in soon. I will definitely keep everyone updated when mine do.

Ed, I know you also have the ES3X. Can you please comment on any differences and similarities between the 13's and the ES3X's? Larry's review will still take over 10 days and it'd be nice to have impressions from other ES3X owners. Needless to say there are plenty of people round here who'd also like to know what you think (and hear).

yikes, i hope that JH do not, in making turnaround time so fast, up the possibility for problematic products.

I've had a busy day, not much time spent listening unfortunately.

I've been doing some back and forth now between the JH13 and ES3X. They are quite different. In almost every way.

Soundstage shape is different, frequency response very different, detail level, PRAT, etc. I'll do a more proper review later on when I've had more time to do critical comparisons.

One thing that really stands out is how smooth the JH13's are without being too laid back.

Compared to the HD800's, which are almost torturous treble response, the JH13 is much smoother. Definitely has just enough "sparkle" and zing to the high end. It's a little soft in comparison, but then again, the HD800's were extremely bright, and I've been used to those before I returned them.

As I let me ears burn in with the JH13's I'll post what my thoughts are.

hmmm all this problems about artwork is very concerning. I am a trained graphic designer and spend a bit of time designing my artwork, I think I might just go without. I would much prefer to have nothing than an image i'm not happy with and one that comes off easily. I will find someone here in australia to put artwork on them. or maybe i'll send them a pair of titanium rings (flat donuts) that a jeweller friend of mine made and have them embed them in the shell. thats not gonna come off.

Wow, your artwork does look very good! There is no smearing of details, and the wing details turned out very nicely indeed. What a difference compared to mine I hope they clear coated it to protect the artwork.

Just recieved an e-mail from Brittany, mine are shipping today should be here by Thursday. Anticipation is killing me. Will post pics when they arrive!!!!

Everyone should post their pics as they get them. I'm a world away from mine as they don't even have my impressions yet. I'm shying away from fancy artwork though (although Seanc85's have come out rather well)

More Pics & Impressions please to keep the suspense rising for those of us not lucky enough to have received them yet!

Win!

Just got mine!

I switched my cable preference to black part way through. Brittany is fixing the mixup for me.

Loving the sound out of these! It'll be interesting to see how they change over the next day or so if crossover burn-in really is needed with these.

Yes, Frances rocks. I had my impressions done with her.

She is very knowledgable and also has universal fit versions of nearly all the different Custom IEMs. (even the UE11, and will most likely have the JH13 soon as well). It's a rare opportunity to "try before you buy comparison shop" with customs.

thanks, looking forward to getting them. If they can top the Ety ER4S out of the Minibox-E+, which I am sure they will, I will bet set.
