Ya, the Spec93 (or any OCC silver or copper cable) are a major upgrade over the stock cables. I've tried an OCC copper cable as well but I found bass too prominent and midrange a tad thicker with this cable, could've lived with it as overall it was still a huge improvement over the stock cable but then I heard the Spec93 which was more open sounding with better treble extension and a slightly thinner midrange (still lots of body though). Plus increased detail across the board as well. I can't find a downside to the Spec93.

So what kinda portable amps are you guys using with your jh13? My arrow 4g doesn't pair very well with the jh13, bass is weird and anemic.

I was using a DX100 to great effect.

does this still apply to non-us customers ?

I thought the DX100 was a DAP, and not an AMP.
