I got email updates of my order status when the earmolds were received (same day FedEx delivered them), and then when they made it to the lab (one week later). These came spontaneously, I have not contacted them regarding my order at all. So far so good, they seem to be on the ball. Now I'm just praying for a good fit on the first try.

Sending mine back for another refit with a completely new ear impressions (wide-open mouth) as recommended by Jerry. I feel so gracious that he takes such a pride in delivering only the best for his customers.

Hopefully it will turn out well. I just hope mine will fit the first time and not have to send it for refitting and whatnot.

You know, it's funny, I used to put on my Shure E500s and just use the music as background noise to keep my mind from wandering while I'm working. I try to do the same thing with the JH13s but I keep finding myself not working, just sitting there, listening to the music, then at some point snapping out of it and getting back to work

ming the 16's are most likely going to be for performers and not really focused towards a audiophile sort of like how the ue 5/7 is in their custom line.

Of course, the only way to know for sure is to wait until some folks here have a pair, or until a few of us can compare universals. Are you prepared to wait 6+ months, Ming?

If you go back a dozen or so pages in the thread, you'll find the conversation that Moseboy had w/ Jerry where Jerry states that the 13s will still be the reference audiophile headphones, the 16s aren't meant to take their place.
