Agreed on the Y cable. I've already cut off the plastic tube used for cinching up the cable... No need for that.

Here's a question: I'm looking for a semi-portable amp that beats the Pico (by semi-portable I mean it will fit in my laptop bag). How does the Lisa III do with the JH13s? Any hiss issues? I imagine that the Lehmann BCL -- with adjustable gain --would have been nice with the 13s. Don't get me wrong: the Pico is great, but I'd be willing to scale up the size for an improvement in SQ.

Tomorrow I'll try the 13s amped by my DAC1 Pre. It also has adjustable gain, which should help.

I actually didn't mind this. My cables always get tangled. Pull it up, no tangles. Push it down, and I'm losing maybe a half-inch before the Y. It's the placement of the Y . . . .

Nice to heard, I'm planning to use Wadia>DAVMagic>Maxxed WA6>JH13. Any tube hums? Are you using fat bottle 6EW7?

wow, I can't believe it!
Just got the tracking number from JHA! My JH13s arrived at their lab at 1.15pm yesterday for the artwork repair and after only one day, they're done and shipped! That's incredibly fast! Hopefully the stuffs would turn out neat and nice.

The carbon fiber case looks cool. Too bad they don't ship anymore. Since either case seems abit too large for it to be portable, i rather the cooler one.
