Yep. One of the reasons I wanted to share pix. Of course, you gotta get really close up and personal to spy the circuitry.

So even if I could scrounge together the funds to purchase the JH13, I'm not sure I could ever pull the trigger, because if you didn't wind up liking the sound for whatever reason, there's no selling them here. how do you all get around that? esspecially because you can't actually hear what they sound like because the universal fit version is a bit off.

Can't they be remolded? Seems like if you sent them back they'd remold em at a cost.

ha ha! that's the head-fi spirit. Yeah, I doubt I would either based on my impressions of them from a recent meet. I actually thought that while the JH13 sounded technically better than the JH12, all the instruments just jumped out and seperated, they had a bit of treble emphasis/glare which the JH12 did not, it seemed totally flat. But I was told at the meet this was because the JH13 doesn't work too well with the universal pads, but the jh12 seems to fit them better.
This is probably discussed before, but I can't read all this... |

It's a translucent champagne color w/ my requested graphic (music staff w/ G-Cleff and notes): |
