so here is my JH13 rig. these things are smashing!! the timbre on them is superb!! percussion is like no other headphone
I have heard to date. I havent heard any truly high-end stat rigs before. stat speakers yes, but not headphones.
the speed is uncanny; as I said i'm loving them with my new duelund dock. its funny, I bought the Duelunds when I
was getting some for other people, and when they arrived I thought 'you idiot' I wondered if i would ever use them
and they are not at all cheap. I have bee mainly using iriver in preference to my VCAP rig, but the JH13 and
DIYMOD->Duelund dock have got something pretty special going on.













I think the transportable rig is done for a while how do you like the purple guys?? I love it, gonna look
great once they apply the artwork. sending them back once they have the machine to print on them. I wanted
the purple to be quite dark, which it is; I wanted the colour to reflect redish in some light and blueish in other
light; it does!! kudos to Jerry, Adam, Brittany and the gang for putting together a great product; that part was never in
question. in fact nothing that cant be sorted out with time and organization

I also think they overcharge the shipping cost. Even in the US here, such a small box would cost ~5-6$ shipped by Priority 2-3 days and they charge 25$ for shipping.

yeah well, i've already said enough on the matter, I think enough has been said that they will have a bit of a think about it, one thing to consider for local shipping though; being that there is no duty, they are free to insure at full value and in OZ that would cost at least $10-15AUD extra. that wasnt the case with all these international orders where thankfully they helped out with the declaration. sure I understand that shipping something out takes time, but surely that extra little is incorporated into the initial price. anyway I said ive said enough and I have...now...

quite a difference from UM3X too, but I do have to say that the Westones are not disgraced. the difference is not small, but its not 'night and day'

thanks!! yeah I lov'em!! felt like doing something a little off-beat; I took a risk and i'm glad I did. i'm putting the moebius strip vector art I posted some pages back; but will play with it a little more now that I dont have to account for the human factor. can add more detail, I still want it iconic though since there isnt much space and they already look amazing

I am a man who is always looking for the best deal and getting the most value for my hard-earned dollar. The smallest Priority charge is around $8 and that doesn't include insurance or "signature required". Why not ask Brittany how they derived the $25 price. Maybe there is a logical reason, and if so, please share it with the rest of us.

Got a pleasant call from Brittany stating that mine were being built yesterday, and are going to be shipped today! Christmas in August.

congrats man!! seriously; you are gonna LOVE them, i havent been able to get them out of my ears; i've got a bad case of Harveyitus, where over time the IEMs become fused to your skull, in the lead up to this it is almost impossible to remove them from your head

serious question; has anyone actually found a type of music that these things DONT do well?? perhaps Norwegian traditional folk music or Tibetan throat singing??

Would love some more replies on the totall cost (all included) and totall wait time from sending the impressions :-)

I agree, I suppose. I said the same to Brittany, but at the end of the day, it didn't keep me from my order.

BTW, I just received my Absolute Originals box set CCR discs. Ripped and started with Down on the Corner from Willy & The Poor Boys. Just gorgeous. It's great on the HD800, but the detail on the JH13s remains astonishing.

Maybe this has already been covered but I don't want to have to read this gigantic thread to find the answer to my question. Does anyone know If Jerry does custom art for his JH-13 pros like ultimate ears does? I care a lot about Sound Quality but I can't pretend that asthetics aren't important to me. So i think it'd be cool to have the apple logo on the outside, so I can tell people I have the ibuds and they're better than an hd800.

Just received my sales receipt and tracking number by email! Shipping (UPS 2nd day) cost $20. My impressions cost $100 - I guess I could've shopped around for a better price, but I went to the hospital adjacent to my office. I shipped my impressions on August 1st. That's a remarkable turnaround, considering the deluge they are under. My communication with them has been great throughout - a 2-day response lag at most (personally, I'm no faster than that with responding to emails.) I'm bristling, can't wait!
