What are you guys using to carry around your JH13s. I've been using the mini UE case that came with my 11s, but I keep getting confused which iems I have with me. I need something small and protective that I can toss in my purse. Any ideas?

I use the semi soft case (small) that you can get from Westone for 5 dollars. It provides ample protection and takes up minimal room. It has a little pocket that placed the cleaning tool in and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter (I use them to listen to used CD's before purchasing).

I'm not saying that they don't perform on similar levels. I agreed with immtbiker that they are different types of product, for different uses. As much as I love my JH13, I'd still like to have a high-end studio monitor setup for times when I would rather use speakers. Or a high-end 7.1 audio system for movies. Etc.
Just as an Ariel Atom and a Ferrari 612 might both be incredible performers, they have different uses. I can't have a bunch of friends over to listen to my JH13. I can't take my studio monitor system on a plane, or out in the back-country. I meant my statement in terms of usage, not performance. At this point, I've never heard a headphone I'd rather listen to than my JH13. |

Sending my UE-10's to Florida tomorrow to be scanned.
Excited! ![]() Can't decide on a color or texture. Most of you guys know me. Any suggestions? |

Aaron, are you getting art or no? Are you planning on using them with your green and gold tomahawk?

What took so long? :^) For some reason I thought you already had a pair. I think some motion art work would be sporty>

I have been in "high end" equipment for many years having used tube equipment for many of those. Now the one big issue often with high end equipment is you have to "get everything just right" or the speakers don't sound right because they have to be amped with plenty of current and a stereo amp won't work, nope, you need a mono for the bass, and one for those mids and tweeters on those biwired speakers then get that preamp out of whack or . . . .
These IEM's aren't in the least way picky. They sound great out of my modified iRiver H140, better out of the D10 or even more so out of the OEM plugged into the D10 but they all are musical, enjoyable and I could live with any combination. How is that for "high end"? It sets a new standard if you ask me. |
