The JH13, if it is as godly as it is, should be a wonderful benchmarking tool. You guys should use them to listen to all kinds of DAC's that you can get your hands on at all meets, then report your impressions in the forum. That would help the rest of us determine our ideal DACs for our varied budgets.
Note: Make sure you use lossless files, of course. Ideally, there is a plugin for foobar2000 that has an algorithm for upsampling your 44-48kHz 16bit to higher sampling rates that, according to my internet research, is superior to most hardware upsampling technology. This is the main reason why I've been most attracted to the Headroom Ultra Desktop DAC, because it accepts a 192kHz 24bit input, rather than just upsampling lower rates.
