I am listening to Shadow Gallery (Room V) with them right now and once again I am completely blown away by the sound quality.

I just deleted a whole lot of thread crapping. Knock it off, people.
On-topic now: I'm really hoping to have mine before the end of the week. ![]() |

I think the best thing about the JH13 is the speed and the dynamics, it really gives you that energy every time the drumstick hits the snare, everytime the guitar is being strummed, and every time the bass is being plucked.
Even for Clifford Brown, as he blazes through his bebop solos, you can hear every note and learn how great a technique he had and how he brought up the energy of the music by changing his volume and the way he played. If you love your music, and love analysing it to no end (even if you don't like analysing and just like to enjoy), these earphones just bring you to another world. I think the thing about Live Music nowadays in the market squares sound a bit off because of one thing - acoustics. Where the recordings usually get direct feeds or are studio recorded, giving you amazing ability for details and dryness to get every single note and every single peak in the music, and brings the music more to life because it's like you're part of it. =) That's just my opinion though. |

Almost forgot to post this pic here:
![]() BTW, not only are the JH13's incredible for straight headphone listening music, they are an incredible match for the Smyth Research SVS Realiser. |
