I just picked these up today so this is just an initial assessment. These are a great sounding headphone overall but the fact that they are also closed back and still have great soundstage at...
everything about these headphones is flawless. Everything is balanced, and perfect. Any of the reviews that didn't like them most likely have a fake pair, or, hate life. The only thing I could...
I paid 25 bucks for this phone, which makes it stupidly good value. Best Bang for the buck phone. Quite comfy so you can use it for quite a long time. Sounds is quite awesome, not 200$ awesome...
with so much talk on burn-in , i really dont know if im a believer or not.... my xb500s had a change in sound once burnt in, but it wasnt the same with the shure se 535(then again BAs need no...
I am one of the crazy guys with a bucket full of IEMs. I listen mostly to my beloved Cowon J3 because I can equalize most IEMs for a sound I like. I have an amp. Now I have the 012s, like I...
wow, i had no idea that these problems were so widespread. i think the other surprising thing is that my sleek ct6 (400$ iems) are covered in a protective layer. while they only can do one colour and their printer is not amazing (i really feel ue envy), they are nice.
I have a nice iRiver H140 that I modified with some good output caps and the sound is very fine. At 120gb and the quality of the iRiver, though not tiny, a good portable rig will be right there.
How did you change your H140 hard drive to 120 gb? how did you format it (sorry, this may be a bit stupid question; but anyway)?
please let us know.
Just got my JH-13's today and listening to them now. They're quite a bit harder to drive then the 10x3's.. no hiss out of Ipod/Cowon D2 and lot less from the M^3 amp. Obviously the 28ohm impedence (vs 18ohm on the 10x3) helps.
Will take some side by side pics later for now... enjoying them

Okay a quick side-by-side comparison ... 10x3's with the clear cable, 13's with the black cable
Its interesting looking at them, that they're not exactly the same shape, which is a little puzzling because they came from the same impression but I guess its not a 100% exact replica process... both seal well enough though so I'm not worried. I'll have to give it time to see if the JH-13 is more/less comfortable then the 10x3's

One thing I can say right away, is that the soundstage is wider on the 13's then the 10x3.. and I thought the 10x3 was pretty big to begin with!
Looking forward to more feedback Bojamijams. I posted pics in my gallery. They're not very good, but they're what I've got until I can take the time to improve them.
Dammit!! Can't you guys stop posting all these raving, glowing, beaming, happy happy joy joy comments??? Seriously, this thread is not helping my finances out whatsoever, cause I know at some point this summer I'm going to have to take the plunge....
CURSE you all!! And CURSE you Head-Fi!!!!! ARRRGGGHHHHH........
Those look really nice sean. I may have to get back with Brittany to see about putting that logo on mine. When they didn't show up as requested, I wasn't too worried, but I do like it.
