I tried my wife’s new iPhone 3GS out with my UE10s. It sounded Ok. But compared to my iMod + Pico combo, the sound was two dimensional and veiled. I would expect the JH13s to make the difference even more pronounced. But I can’t say for sure until mine arrive.

I really, REALLY hope that the Hi-Fi Man turns out to be the perfect source and amp for the JH13s. That scenario is probably too good to be true though.

Unamped, I prefer the sound out of my itouch and nano with UE11s over my iphone 2G. I doubt that increasing sound quality was a high priority in making the 3GS. At the same time, depending on the circumstances, sacrificing a little sound quality for convenience wins out.

The 3gs supposedly has the best iphone output to date.. beating even the wolfson dac ipods according to a few people I've read

Well, I'm not sure I'm getting my JH13Pro tomorrow - UPS tracking for one day air saver still doesn't show them in UPS custody yet. It wont kill me to wait like it's killing sinocelt...

I'm always okay with QC being the reason for the delay - better to get a perfect product a few days later, than to have to send it back if it sounds wrong.

i am thinking of getting 3Gs iphone...just not sure if it's worth it...

It's killing me to wait for full review of your

OMG this thread takes 5 weeks to get 100 pages. JH should be very happy to prolong his order listing

No of course not the imods, but better HP out then them and if you're going to bring just one unit, thats the one to have apparently.

Of course if you're going to bring TWO, then Imod+amp is heavenly

Yup iMod + Caps + Amp...

Really a league above most else... Wonder how HiFiMan would do with JH13
