There is a difference for hating the actor and hating the character they are portraying like Joffrey from Game of Thrones for example. Now that guy is a good actor who really makes you hate his character.

Or is there a trend going on with the wives of the main characters on AMC? We got Lori from TWD and Skylar from BB. So maybe the next popular AMC show will also have a wive that you want dead. lol

I hate her because she is the spitting image of my ex-wife. Serious doppleganger. Bugs the hell out of me. And the character of Skyler acts like my ex too; passive-aggressive. So I have good reason to hate on her. :-)

Did anyone read the article she wrote for the NY Times?

Apparently she's claiming that men hate her character so much because they're misogynist. Its the usual feminist line. If men hate a female character, they're oppressing women.

The article was removed shortly after it drew a lot of criticism.

I didn't dig the last episode too much. Didn't like Jesse switching sides

I wish I could have read that. I'm sure Ms. Gunn has her pet causes (most celebrities seem to use their popularity as a pulpit for SOMETHING), but that claim of hers reveals a lot about her psyche, by my estimation. Anyway, her character is portrayed quite well and despite bugging the crap out of me, she's a necessary antagonist to the arc of the story.

:veryevil::veryevil::veryevil::veryevil:

What. an. amazing. episode.

The best part is, they've already shown a glimpse of the future in the past episodes, and it makes the remaining episodes interesting as hell. The suspense was crazy.

What I love about the show is how they never paint the picture in black and white. Everyone's a gray character here, its very hard to root for anyone except maybe Walter.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more!

They sure know how to leave us hanging by a thread off a cliff.

There was some symbolism in this episode, but I forgot what it was..

I agree with your last paragraph, but I can't agree with liking Walt..He's a bit...eh...a deceitful liar, that man. Good actor and such, but since season 5, I've lost interest in him. He broke bad for sure!

That was one hell of an episode.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Makes me wonder what will happen next. Will Hank and Jesse get killed or will they get away? At this point I kinda want Hank dead because he's becoming a pain in Walt's throat.

I'm wondering if this is a get-out-of jail card for Walt. The operation was clearly not sanctioned by the DEA, atleast from the looks of it it seems like a gunfight among civilians.
Hank didn't show his badge, so the other side can always claim self defense against his act of revenge. The only witnesses are Jesse and Walt, and guess who's the more credible one here?

Jesse's gone, atleast metaphorically. A royal screw up for him. Hank sure as hell won't protect Jesse, now that he himself is in danger (if he lives). And Jesse's betrayed Walt, who's a lot more cunning than all of them combined.
This kid never learns, does he?

Oh man I'm goin nuts waiting for Sunday. A full on firefight between a bunch of rednecks and two DEA officers with Jesse and Walt in the middle? One of the most intense moments on TV.

If you guys are looking for a new show to watch, Hannibal is GREAT too
