Any LD MK6 owner out there using low impedance phone with is amp, can you please comment on how this amp pairs with headphones like grado and AT??

Superbly

Really, thats all there is to say. Absolutely tons of control over lower-impedance cans

Any more opinions?

I'm thinking of buying this amp to drive my HE-5LEs. My biggest concern is hum or noise when driving lower impedance headphones.

I Have a Grado GS1000i and a RS1i and the Little MK6 drive it great with no strain. Great sound signature!

Any one try it with a Denon D7000.

Drives my HE-5LEs great. Superb control and no worries of hum or noise thru my HE-5LEs. Running the HE-5LEs completely balanced really impressed. No more upgrade itch once the VI got into my system.

How about the D7000 at 25 ohms!

The lowest I went with the amp was 40ohm with the AD2000 (i did use some grados too, but since I didnt like the headphones at all, I cannot comment on that synergy).  Despite being OTL, the P-P design seems to offer enough of a slew rate, such that the audio technicas seemed as fast as ever

Finally got a D7000 and the amp drive them with authority and no strain.
