The pics posted here from Todd's site are bowls and not flats.

Bowls have historically defeated the bass compared to the flats in Grado-land. Interesting that
flats are being used at the meet, but bowls are shown on the website.

How does the Y piece look, fragile or did they do something with it? I gotta believe this wood/metal combo nails both acoustic and electric guitar. I should get a pair and sell the RS-1s. This way I won't have to get the MS-2 for electric rock.

The skinny on "the new 4-wire cable" on HF-2?

I've seen a few references to the HF-2 having "the new 4-wire cable". Can someone provide a reference to where the quality of this new cable has been discussed. I am especially interested in how this new cable compares to the older "regular" cable, as on the SR225 and the "UHPLC" cable, as on the 325 and RS series.

I'm taking it as a promising sign that Uncle Erik, having heard an HF-2, is asking Todd to take his money for one.

I'm sure glad that I've got: Bowls, comfies, flats, and unmodded and VWAP-modded canary yellow Senn HD414 pads. And I just discovered a chip kit which gives the D10 exceptional synergy with Grados.

I'm ready for my HF-2 now, Mr. DeMille.
A few weeks to a month, or so, wait?
"snap <of fingers>"
In no time I'll be posting,
"Hey, lookee here ..... My HF-2 arrived from Todd today!"

I'll see all of you tomorrow I'm so excited! I wish I could have went today... Does anybody know if AKG is going to be there? I didn't see them listed as an attendant.

Wish I could be there too...

I'd love to be able to sample some of the UE custom earphones (as well as Jerry Harvey's) with the universal tips to get a feel for them. Rare opportunity for people there to get a taste of the sound of the custom before they drop $1000 on one...
