Sub $120 portable amp for Clip

Looking for a portable amp to go with a sansa clip and an ER-4P (and KSC-75 or slightly less portable phone in the future).
My real limit is probably 100 USD not including shipping, but I'd like to leave $120 open considering I can probably stretch that far - especially if it has two headphone-outs.
Sort of looking at airhead or penguin amp... although not sure about the 2nd as I am not good friends with paypal.

How about the PA2V2 for $60? Welcome To Electric-Avenues.com !

The guy who makes these is incredibly nice and the amp has gotten some good reviews in the past.

If you were talking about ER-4S (or you have the 4P with the S adaptor), it's a totally different story, but with the Clip and already easier to amp 4P (and KSC75 for that matter), will an amp justify the cost you mentioned, or even necessary for that matter? Just something to think about.

I do have an ER-4S adapter. I'll go and buy the KSC75 and grab a splitter and see how it goes with the KSC-75 and the ER-4P and get back to you.

You should try it. I was able to drive both the D5000 and the D7000 to decent volumes using a Y splitter off the Clip's headphone out.

The clip has an excellent amp stage.

Well, with the S adaptor, the story changes completely. Clip from my experience has strong internal amp but probably not strong enough to get the best SQ (It may drive it loud enough, but volume is not equal to SQ). My experience with T4 has shown me that it is quite powerful for its size, and would probably drive ER-4S well enough on high gain (and its subtle bass boost would be nice with Etys as well). I believe Antonyfirst reviewed the T4 with ER-4S a while back and found good synergy. And its hard to beat it from the size standpoint too.

Just get a fiio e5 and be done with it. Small and you don't lose the advantage of the clip's size.

Wont an E5 add to the hiss?
Changed 2nd phone to include others, still interested in amps (upgradeitis..)

x2 on the T4.read through the T4 thread (which I did) and you may find several owners of ER4 that have good experience with the T4 and it's within your price limit.

It was an iBasso P2. I didn't get to try the T4 with the ER4S but I didn't like it with Head-Direct RE0.

In turn, I had a very good experience with the Mini^3 and my Apuresound ER4P.

Sansa clip + Corda Headsix (I have the XXS. essentially the same thing) is a fantastic combination.
