Ill try to make it for a couple of hours if I am in town. I dont think that I will have a amp by then, but I could bring my laptop/offramp/isabellina combo (if my offramp shows up by then) and borrow someone amp.

Come, it is all good. Listen to everything. We have some exceptional gear at the meets here in Seattle. Mike should be bringing his L3000 Rig. Something to experience. All the meets I have been too, everybody is more than happy to let everyone audition their rig. We will even have dinner afterward somewhere in the area.

I'll try and see if I can make this. I have a friend showing up in town that day and staying for week. Might be a little tricky. There's still a chance though.

Bring your friend and the usual body bag for a few hours? Or if you need to car pool let me know and I can pick you up on the way? So what is another body bag?

Actually my friend is in town to help shoot a movie, so we will not see much of her at all while she's here. So it's not a problem of hanging out with her. It's just timing of when she arrives. There's no airport pickup or anything. I'll just have to see what's up as the date gets closer.

Yeah, I do want to try and make this one but we'll see. If I need a ride or anything, I'll let you know. I trust everyone but if I can't make it, my stuff's just too expensive to loan out for the day. Especially at what the L3000 is selling for now. Kind of crazy. Not sure when they jumped in price.

I'll try to make it on July 26. It would be great to hear Dan Lavry say a few words.
One idea would be to ask him to speak on the merits of different resolutions for digital. Doesn't he state that simply higher isn't necessarily better? I'd love to hear more about that.

No new toys, but I'd bring along my K-702's and Proton. I would like to hear the matchup with the AKG's and Big Poppa's Darkvoice amp again.

Way to go guys. Glad you took the initiative and secured a date (and place!).

My gear:
HD650
ATH-EW9
Grado SR-60
Corda Opera
Nad 525 BEE

What TT's are we looking at? Anybody have a good DAC to compare against?

I'm currently trying to decide weather to get a decent DAC or an entry level turn table. I've been buying vinyl like mad, even though I dont have one yet.

Get the isabellina. Great dac and it helps music sound less digital and more like vinal.

Dear god, I wish I could. Quite a bit out of my price range at the moment, though. Thinking about a DAC Magic, or a Project Debut III.
