Just curious, but did you do it single sided...the wires are way longer for one channel than the other. Me personally, I'd just put the split lower like on a standard HD650. Most people to use that are going to have to unravel the braiding and lower the split so there's 2 even sides.

Edit: Looks pretty badass installed on DT770s though, going in and out of the little earcup holes...
