What should happen when I connect the usb from the pc to it - should windows automatically find it?
The D3 makes 3 clicking sounds on connection (the link light flashing appears to make the noise), and with either XP or Windows 7, it just reports an unknown device.
The "owners manual" is just a sheet of a4 paper with some text printed on it - pretty useless really.
