They're an interesting read and give some insight into the different filters
Thanks a lot!

The DAC will have an optical and two coaxial inputs accepting upto 24-bit, 192 kHz as well as one USB input accepting upto 16-bit, 48kHz.
I've been re reading the thread and this thing made me thinking. Will one of the coaxial inputs be BNC or are both RCA connections? I've read in multiple threads that BNC should have somewhat better sound than RCA.

Jan, any idea how the crossfeed filter would work on Stax earspeakers?

The operation of the DAC switches in the StageDAC is identical to the Symphony and is elucidated in the Symphony's user manual: symphony manual

Hi there. The prices are:

> EUR 595,- for customers living inside the European Community.

> EUR 515,- or USD 745,- for customers living outside the European Community.

He has also at the moment a promotion if you want to buy it together with the HD800:

Note that there is a 25% price-reduction on the price of the DAC when it is bought in combination with a HD-800.

Dr Meier is posting mine on Wednesday from Germany. If I receive it on Friday, I will post first impressions this coming weekend, otherwise it will have to be next weekend. I presume I have been lucky to be in the waiting list so I will receive one from the first batch. Dr Meier is performing the quality control of this batch at the moment so presumibly, all being well with the QC checks, the website should be updated sometime this week or next and show it for sale to everyone.
Cheers

I got the same message from Jan. But I decided to buy SPL Auditor first and then save for StageDAC. One additional note - worldwide shipping is included in the price, which is nice.
