ibasso D2 Boa to power speakers

I hooked my D2's output to a rca cable and ran it to my Onkyo receivers tape 1 inputs. I then ran a LOD from the D2 to a ipod. Will this be bad for the D2? I want to use my ipod with my speaker setup and this is the only way I could get it to work with a 7 yr old receiver. Is there a better way?

BTW it sounded pretty good...I'm just worried about frying the D2

You can use the headphone out from your iPod, by using the 1/8" to RCA adapter you plugged into your D2.

You can also order a cheap LOD to RCA adapter off eBay and connect to your receiver that way as well.

Either way, you don't need to plug into an amp before you plug into your receiver.

Did you turn the volume up? There's no reason it shouldn't work...

I used the line out from the dock and it sounded like crap. Very tinny.

It shouldn't do. I used DAP line out to home audio gear, sounds fine.
