From what they title says I am looking for a replacement headband for my HD580 and I have tried Sennheiser website and they don't provide any. So I was wondering if anybody at Head-Fi knew where I could get a new headband?

I bought these puppies just before Christmas and they have been a revelation. I can't tell you how much they suit my listening tastes. I love close listening with lots of treble and tight...

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

First of all let me say this is one of my favourite BA driver earphones I have ever heard. That said, being a basshead, these didn't deliver in the bass department - I can't deny the fact...

I've had this card for quite a while now, and I have to say its a really nice card - a huge step-up to my on-board motherboard's audio. At first I do have to admit, it didn't feel like the D1...

Long story short: These earbuds, shouldn't ever be bought, when they come free in your iPod package, its fine to look at them, and try them on. If you know someone wanting to buy these,...

I will give that a try but I haven't replaced my pads yet. From what I saw in your thread it could be the cushion material, you may want to check if it is the same material and the thickness that sometime could change the sound.

Sennheiser doesn't list a lot of the things they still have in stock on their website. Do what I did and what others suggested. CALL THEM.

I emailed Sennheiser Canada about the headbands and they said they don't have them anymore.

If You Can't...
I'm assuming you're looking for the pads, not the metal band. If so...If you can't find the stock Senn replacement... why not get the Beyer snap-on replacement. It looks better and fits better anyway.
I don't know what model number it is - but, its commonly used to replace HD580/600 head pads. You can contact Beyer... they'll know. Or... you can search the HD580 mods thread - which identifies it.
But... that's only to replace the pads.

Isn't the HD 650 headband pad (if that's indeed what you're referring to) compatible? At least that's my understanding and I'm personally planning on ordering one for my HD 580 tonight.

As far as I am aware, the HD 580, 600 and 650 headbands are basically the same except for the colour and the different shaped head-pad on the 650.

I inquired about buying an HD650 headband and the sales rep told me it would cost $92 for the headband, maybe the HD600 headband would be cheaper? Seems a bit much but I would call and ask.

Yep, sounds about right for a complete headband. It's the same price over here.
