Flat interconect cabls?

Does anyone have experience with those flat interconects? I was looking at the ones from Ibasso. Are they any good? I can't say I have the best portable rig (A bithead and have a sansa fuze on the way). Should I just stick with the regular ones?

i don't really notice the difference between that and the cardas 6" IC you can get on headphone.com. but if you want, i have one on hand that i could sell you for less than the one on ibasso. same exact one.

I had that cable a while ago. It's pretty nice and very flexible.
It's not really expensive so if you want something new and cool-looking, it's not a bad choice.

Testify.

Would love to try the speaker cable.

On my Klipsch's they would be a bad choice. The Red Dawn is the cable that got me hooked on the Silver plated copper sound on my headphone rig.

Thanks for all the advise. As I mentioned I just ordered a fuze and actually decided to get some new OK's I may try to see if I can lighten my load and not lug around the bithead especially with the summer coming. May just get myself a fiio e5 and that kind of plug may be overkill at that point.

nyjets28, I will let you know if I change my mind do decide to get one and will take that extra one off your hands.

Thanks for the advise.

Does Nordost offer the XLR Red Dawn?
eBay seller "Awwan" make a nice flat one with some nice Pailiccs 3.5mm plugs at either end. Pretty cheap. The only upside to flat that I can see would be the flat cables design would keep all wires in line and not crossing but with such a short IC I don't feel that there would be any appreciable difference. Headroom has a nice Cardas for around $20.00 us

yes, nordost has XLR connetions

best is to start with the blue heaven interconnects. gives you a taste of what nordost sounds like but doesnt kill the budget
