How do I tell apart the new X10's?

Is there any way to tell what the 'new' (rev 2, rev b, whatever its called) X10s look apart from the old ones?

I had the x10's but the paranoia about the cable entry forced me to sell it. I hear its fixed now in the new ones. I'd still like to look for it used though. Any idea how I can make sure i'm getting new ones? (even if I decide to go from a store, I wanna make sure its not old stock)

new x10 silicon tips are more firm (hard)
cords are more flexible
both changes are noticeable

I mean, how can I tell from looking at pictures if I see a FS post? Is it possible?

Not a new cable from what I understand, just a new cable entry so its not prone to cracking as much (anymore?)

Amy, your input would be much appreciated.

Because these are not serialized, I don't know that there is a way to tell them apart. I'll keep looking into it.

Please know there is a very low percentage of cables that experience problems vs units sold.

Thanks for chiming in Amy.

Can you tell us a date after which point the new revision of the X10's was manufactured? That might be the easiest thing.

Oh my! There is new cable housing out for the X10s? That's quite reassuring, as I've now had to send my X10s in TWICE for cable issues. I was thinking about possibly having to sell them, but if Klipsch has addressed the issue, I can happily keep the X10s, as they are definitely my favorite IEMs Just out of curiosity Amy, I sent my X10s in but a few days ago for my replacement. Am I pretty much guaranteed to get the Rev-b version of the 'phones, or am I still at risk of receiving another Rev-A version? Thanks!
