Just received these and they sound great! However, I have a question for those with these IEM's:

How do I get the ear sleeve off without breaking the stem? They are really jammed in there. I've tried twisting and pulling and do not want to break the stem.

Thanks!!!

You aren't the only one. Many people have complained about it; some resorted to fingernails, the freezer, and some other awkward methods.

Here is the right sub-forum concerning IEMs. If you search around I'm sure you'll find those threads.

first you search for the one of many threads asking the same thing

in short you just twist and twist and twist and twist and then twist some more, slowly they do come off but have patience

I was able to get them off easily after putting them in the freezer for a half hour.

!I called Shure and spoke with a technician and guess what advice he gave me? Put them in the freezer for 30 minutes! So, thanks all for your suggestions. He reassured me that there would be no problems with either the speakers or the cable with 30 minutes in the freezer and explained that it was the shrinking with the cold temp that makes them easier to remove. Will give this a try. Thanks again.

Yup, freezer trick works, and eventually they'll get to the point where you won't need to do that.
