Hi All,

I have less than 10 of these left to sell. I will take more orders than I have headphones and start waiting list. This will allow a few to get the HF-2 as people cancel or change their mind.

Once they are all sold I will post that the remaining orders are on a waiting list.

Thanks to all who have ordered and hope to get them to you soon so you can start enjoying them!!!

Oh man, I can't wait to try these. I ordered on the evening of 7/12 and got the update "Thank you for your order we expect to be shipping the headphones in the next few weeks [ . . . ]"

So this means my order is in for an existing pair, right? A waitlist would destroy me as it did my senior year of high school. ;(

Very late first day. I think there are a few people ahead of me that ordered the following day (as seen in this thread), but that may be due to online v. phone ordering and/or differences in shipping (simply receiving them first). I don't care much about serials, though for others to calculate their place, I thought I was much earlier than 122, so it may not be a direct 1:1 relationship. Still it looks like at least 125, and maybe 150 or more have shipped.

I talked with Todd earlier today, he said mine should be shipped out tomorrow. I ordered/got confirmation of my order on the 18th, order number 566x. I called because I hadn't gotten a response from him regarding other items I wanted added to my order.

I see the fact that these will be going out on Wednesday instead of Friday as a good thing, perhaps Grado is ahead of schedule, and won't take quite as long to get them all out. But don't let me get your hopes up if you are at the latter end of the line.

If you haven't gotten an e-mail response to a question, he said it's because he's gotten many, many e-mails recently, and just has been swamped.

I suggest calling him if you urgently need an answer, he's very pleasant to speak with.

People only got 2 weeks notice these were going to be gone - I thought it was stated that there would month a month or two notice before they were discontinued, and that they'd keep getting made while there was demand. I think the peeps on a waiting list should get another batch made if they run out.

I don't think that's going to happen because if another batch is made, it'll have the corrected 'Head-Fi' on it. This will not go down well with people that have already agreed to take the F1 version.....

I believe Todd posted that it would end either end of July or sell 500?...whichever came first.
Don't believe there's plans for anything more than that.
