VERY unlikely. It's best to think of the HP1/HP2 and SR100/200 as being a different brand. Joe and John have VERY different sensibilities when it comes to sound and build.

Damn, now I can say: "Thanks Head-Fi, for being sorry for my wallet"
I had to go for this ones after I recently bought a DAC and other equipment for a bit less than this cans... I still haven't received those, though..

Cheers grawk, thanks for the information. I guess the "letter similarities" lit too many wishful thoughts in my brain.

Ordered. Not sure if I should be happy or sad? I think a little of both

Great concept and marketing move! This shows the relevance of this community as a consumer group (and the connections in between). On another note, a detailed Grado is a very interesting concept since, to my ears, is one of the areas they lack, at least, in the SR series.

Oh boy, time to check my bank account....

Yeah xaval, I sometimes miss some notes i can hear with my PFE on some tracks that I can not hear with the sr225. It is funny, though, because the sr225 keep me moving and headbanging too

Lets see how all of this works out.

It's not hard, it's really easy. You go to ttvj.com and put it in your cart, and click buy, or you call todd up.

Yup, Grados make music sound fun. The most important thing in listening to music, imo.
