The Grado HF2--It's For Real - Page 165

Hopefully my Lambda's sell before the HF2's run out :O

I have the Formula 1 HF-2s as well. As far as I'm concerned... the "1" instead of an "I" does not affect its sound and also makes it unique in a way... if they are able to fix it for the future batches.

lol I'm not alone now.

I'm not kind of angry at the phone when I saw it or some people who was mocking me about doing the photoshop of my pics.

just like I LOLed a lot in another thread. It was funny to me that Grado made a funny mistake like this.

----------

EDIT: I'm with Rinshin. I don't care much about this since the SQ makes me real happy and no regret at all.

and if the rest were fix, it would be very unique having a F1 HF-2.

HF-2 Formula 1 Series! VROOM VROOM

Yeah but for the awe factor I still have for a forum made can, like the HF-1 I have. It's sad they are anything but perfect, even my HF-1 has cable issues. Though I see that it is possible that each batch is different since likely more than 1 place did the engraving, it was supposed to be like 350 in the first batch now 50 each. So we will see

I hope the only difference was the engraving and not a rushed assembly, affecting wiring or driver detail or wood detail. These are 2.5x the price of HF-1s, should be amazing quality like the first 24!

A "Late Friday" HF-2 perhaps, heh-heh.
Reminds me of the CRADO RS1 that someone got from one of the earliest of buttonless redesign woodies.

OMG. What if this F1 thing ends up causing, like, a 5 year delay?! I can't wait that long!

Damn you, F1.
that would suck, already have waited about 2 months if I get mine in the next batch, even longer would be harsh

This F1 thing is actually really upsetting to me. The thing that I can't get out of my head is that, if grado can't manage to manage QC for something blatantly obvious, then how is the rest of the phone being put together. It is also a flat out embarrassing mistake to make on a $450 product. Come on, Grado.

On top of that, it probably means that I'll have to wait weeks more on top of what I already figured. I really hope that it doesn't take until September to get these things.

Really - how could this go unnoticed and for so many pair?

indeed.. however, everything else is totally fine.

I would imagine so. The Compass has a flat, accurate and powerful sound and as such, will blend in with many headphones fine. Too bad that it lacks a bit of that midrange warmth but I guess you can't have everything at that price-point.

P.S. Am I the only one who don't mind getting that HEAD-F1 version?

I find it slightly amusing, and who knows, maybe it will sell for more in the distant future after all.

But if it happened to me, my OCD would slowly exaggerate the issue until I went raving mad.
Hmm... delicious OCD. It reminds me of my last Samsung LCD panel that had 1 dead pixel on it.
Whenever someone starts a Team OCD, I am so there.

I'm hoping mine has this mistake too.
