Iaudio 7 Died somehow, suggestion on new player

I don't know how? yesterday it started acting all weird then just stopped working doesn't even get recognized on my PC

this is my was my 2nd Iaudio 7 and I'll gladly buy another expect I don't yet have the cash. I heard the d2 is pretty much the same, does it sound as good using EQ

if you wanna suggest me a new mp3 player it needs to be these few things
: Pocket-user Friendly so I can forward/Back, Pause, change tracks and volume from pocket or without looking at player

: Can change Tracks while on "Repeat Single Track", I know lol minor stuff right? but one of the Sansas I bought a while back didn't allow me to do this and I returned it the same day

I put more but I gotta go return to work, I add more later

Cowon has a top-notch warranty department if it's still covered.

Hey guys!
My iAudio 6 died too -- I cracked the screen somehow, and it's not on warranty any more.
Which player can I get without sacrificing the SQ? Also it should be flash based. All other features, video, etc. are not that important to me.
Perhaps anyone by any chance knows the part number for the LCD screen that I could just order and replace myself? That would be the best solution in terms of budget. Except for the LCD, the player works, it's just that you have to control it in blind more...

Well, it might not be the most exciting suggestion in the world considering you owned an iAudio 6, but why not move up to the iAudio 7? IMO it might be the best "no nonsense" MP3 player out there, alongside the Sony S638/9F.

The reset button worked on my i7! It just started acting flaky playing songs out of order cutting out and not responding to controls, the went dead ,didn't want to start up and was not recognized by the pc usb.
The reset button is under the usb cover flap, held it down with a pencil tip for 10 seconds and it works fine now.
Had it for about a year and this is the only time I have had any trouble with it,thought I wore the little thing out lol.
