That isn't that far away - I waited 5 months for my HD800 and it didn't kill me. This is half as long. (also wanted a Pico DAC-only since I found out about them in September, so that was even longer)

I somehow missed the existence of this thread until now. I just want to say I'm really not pleased with the Pico Slim at all. After numerous portable amps, I had finally gotten to a happy place, and smugly so, with my no-more-amps stealth rig. I listened to the Slim with UE11s at CanJam, and I have to admit it did what I didn't expect. You can turn the volume down to a practically inaudible level and still hear everything perfectly clear and balanced, which my iems could not reproduce alone. There is no extra noise, and the sq improves. This is not what I wanted. Really. I wanted it to be just another portable amp I could dismiss. I am not happy about this at all.

how much will it cost?

this seems like an unreal feature set.
lightyears ahead of the rest.

please do update the GS-1, GS-X with a digital volume control as well justin!

Interested in this as well. I originally sold my Pico because of the size and added weight. If I can get that sort of performance in a smaller package, I'm sold.

Sometimes we want to listen to our favorite headphones out on the back deck watching the sun set behind the mountains, or even just in another room where we don't have a desktop amp and DAC so we grab a portable DAC/amp to plug into the laptop...
