Me too, but I have a feeling it's related to the different angle of insertion. Mark loaned me his RadioPap Pop last week (worn straight down) - and after a few hours I had terrible pressure build up. And yet I'd been using the W3/IE8 before with no pressure at all. I had the same problem with C700's eventually, and then just recently with the FX1000... so l'll keep my fingers crossed that the 3LB of pressure that just popped out doesn't come back

I don't know if it's better either, but all my varying formats sound equally good. The only problem with AAC is that WMP can't see the files, and I think I messed things up by using 2 different methods of transfer, ie; Explorer shows me a different remaining capacity to WMP and some albums don't appear in Explorer, but they do in WMP. Strange, but I'll figure it out at some point.

Don't worry, we'll all be six feet under by the time that ever happens

Oh, and if anyone's experiencing a quirk whereby album art doesn't show up, I figured it out. I had the same problem with the Sansa Fuze and stalked the appreciation thread for a while until I read that jpegs have to be saved in 'Baseline (Standard) - not Baseline Optimized or Progressive. So I weeded out the suspect covers on the Sony, saved them in Baseline Standard and now they all display!
