Nope. I really should - just busy with other stuff.

Anyone know where I can get the JMoney ear pads?  I went to JMoney's website and submitted its order form twice in the last week, but never got a reply.

I did also. If they're no longer available or if they don't have them in stock atm, a simple update on the website would be helpful and courteous.

yeah but Jeremy is "too busy" to even do that...

You can't.

They come with the manufacture headphones and are not sold seperately

The only leather earpads you can buy from Beyer are the aviation ones, for pilot headhones.

BUMP! Any status update on these? One of my pleather pads is is worse condition than the other and I thought of replacing it with these but I really dunno about the situation atm with JMoney. For not much more than the replacement beyerdynamic part, I thought why not...

I asked Jeremy in his thread, but he did not respond to it in his newest post... :-(

Is anyone familiar with these pads:

EDT 770 S

http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/spare-parts/ohrmuschelsatz-12.html

EDT 990 LB

http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/spare-parts/edt-990-lb.html

Are these the terrible Beyer leather/pleather pads mentioned earlier? Skylab? Anyone?

The 990 LB are new, so I doubt if anyone has used them.

The 'terrible' sounding Beyer leather pads are the aviation ones, used for pilot headphones.

The 990 LB and 770S are for hi-fi headphones.

The 770 are relative good pleather ear pads. I used them on a DT770 and a vintage DT880 with reasonable result.

Sound and comfort weren't too bad, but not very good either. On both the DT770 and DT880/'80 other earpads performed better IMO. But it's a matter of taste also I think, and if you can stand the soft skin aka pleather. The DT770 S pads were also a bit too small for my big ears.

Yup. It's not that night and day differences. Different earpads make a different sound, but it's relative when it comes to 'better', depending on the size and shape of head and ears, tolerance to ear and head pressure and the stuff they are made off, taste, music, equipment and so on.

But okay, on the DT880 1980 edition the GMP 8.300/250 earpads sounded the best (again, IMO!)

On the DT770 (consumer 2005, 250 and 600 ohm) I'm still not sure if I like the velour or the manufaktur leather pads better.

Those 770 pads are the pleather, which I did not like the sound of.  Interesting that they are selling a leather pad for 880/990 use again - I'm going to buy a pair to see what they are.
