Yes, I noticed it. Some new gear appears to consider and this is good.

^ Tempting they are, but 60g is really pretty heavy.

On another note, I recently got the ATH-EM700ti (titanium) and it turned out they sound better than my ATH-EW9, though both presumably use the same drivers. So, for anyone interested in buying some decent sounding Clip-Ons that are as pretty as these kind of phones can get, they are on sale now at iheadphones.co.uk for £53.

nice write up,very detail...thx

Very interesting. The cushion pads and bass response intrigue me. There isn't a single place online that has these for sale though so it would seem to be a moot point.

Hi,

I have one G1A and used to own G2A... for me they sound almost the same?!

Kinda hard to get a good amp to pair with it... the mid was like stuck in the middle while the highs outdo the mid

Please give me some suggestion... Thank You

get Pico DAC/amp

@kostalex: can the g1a be played w/out problem with s:flo2? or should i just get g2a?
It will probably drive the G1A to usable volume, but the higher price isn't worth it if you are not amping them. Just my opinion.

so s:flo2 isnt good enough for it?

I have not tried, so I can not tell with confidence. FWIR, I believe s:flo2 power and SQ can justify extra pricing of G1A.

Like what had descibed, G1A really sound (sound sig not SQ) like a proper amped + recable HD650!

when you did the quarter mods, what was that semi- transparent cloth you used as a filter?
