Updated: HifiMAN HM-801 Portable Music Player Preorder - Page 17

I have already ordered it, but I strongly hope that it will be abailable to use ALAC and SDXC card in the near future.
I have more than 500GB music in my iTunes library.
32GB is too small to carry my library, but too large to encode from ALAC to FLAC.

Ditto, even though I've only 150 GB audio files.

Fang,

Any plans to release a carrying case with slots for extra SDHC cards and maybe an IEM pocket?

Would it be possible for this to use SDXC in this without a hardware change? I thought not?

So far, only Pretec has a 32GB SDXC. I would bet that they would be very expensive.

I think, the difference between SDHC and SDXC is only file format, so it depends on the firmware/OS, not Hardware itself.
SDHC is FAT32, but SDXC is exFAT.
If the firmware of HM-801 is programable, SDXC will be able to be supported, but I don't know whether it will be easy or not.

I'm not, but are you familiar with the SDXC spec?

Good to see some UI screencaps finally

Is it going to be open source/customizable?

As it is, it seems to be showing a lot of redunant information on the playing screen

Thank you Nankai, for upliading the screenshots.
Is it able to indicate double bite fonts, such as Chinese or Japanese?

Thank you for the UI pictures. Those are quite sharp. I suppose this is software emulation, not "real life" screen pictures. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Could you please provide some details on screen type and resolution? I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks a lot.

Real Photos. (Taking photo from LCD is extremely difficult)
