Ripped off by Audio-Magus - Page 4

I am starting to wonder if they are going out of business. I have still not heard from Sacha and like I said its been over 2 weeks with no reply to my pending order...

I am about ready to file a claim with my credit card company to get my funds back.

Sacha has returned my call and looks like everything is going to work out. Still would have been nice to have my calls/emails returned...

I ordered from Audio Magus in March of this year.  Not only have I yet to receive my paid for item but whoever is representing this company (which has an active website and will take money from you) has not responded to my many calls and emails.  This is an unconscionable and unscrupulous way to run a business.  At this point I would warn everyone not to deal with this company.

hirak, PM me. I now work in a law office and may be able to help you or anyone ripped off by Audiomagus like me.

No grave-digging, please.

Anyway, so this company managed to keep running for this many years with this bad-a customer "service"? Seriously?

check their online review at BBB, if you know what that is. Also check reviews at other sites. They took $300+ of my hard-earned money. Seriously.

I ordered a pair of Gemme Audio Tonic speakers from Audio-Magus on 4/30 for $1400 and never received them.  Looking back, I realize now that I was completely scammed by Audio-Magus and Sacha Kuetel.  At first I was told there was a NAFTA paperwork problem, then later that the tracking number would arrive any day.  I now believe this was all a ploy to extend the lack of delivery past 45 days, which is the deadline to submit a dispute for undelivered goods with PayPal.  I have not received a single e-mail response or return call from Audio-Magus since 5/31 (yes, that is six weeks).  I have tried to contact them multiple times via e-mail, company web site and phone.  I have tried to contact both Audio-Magus and Obad Imports.  I recently contacted Gemme Audio and ordered my speakers directly from one of the owners (outstanding service).  The owner told me he has not received payment for the inventory he sent Audio-Magus either.  Gemme Audio has since posted a warning on their FaceBook page that at least two individuals (I am one) have been "defrauded of thousands of dollars."  I hope others post their recent experiences and contact me.  If there is a critical mass of other victims, I would like to pursue legal action (on principal only, not to recoup my money), since Audio-Magus now appears to be nothing more than a criminal storefront for scammers, and the fact their web site is still online and taking orders is insulting.  Learn from my experience.  If Sacha and company want to clear their names, I am absolutely open to hearing a legitimate explanation and posting a follow-up.  Also, I hope any moderator of this forum realizes this is not an petty attack on an online vendor, but a real, important, hard-learned alert/warning to other prospective buyers.  Imagine having $1400 stolen...literally.

I am going through the same thing now but I am just before my 45 days. I have been getting the run around for some time now and weeks go by without any replies from this guy. I will be filing a claim with PayPal tomorrow on this. The word needs to get out to not deal with this company. I have over $1600 wrapped up in my transaction.

Sacha has still not refunded me my money for the audio equiptment I purchased from him and again has no follow through on trying to make this right. He has now stolen $1600 + dollars of mine which I plan to get back one way or another. Might just have to contact the authorites in his area to file a complaint.

PLEASE...Do not deal with this person if you value your sanity or money...

He still has not refunded me my funds ($1640) either and continues to avoid answering calls or emails. I files two complaints against him with the BBB and Attorney General in which he never responded. Karma is about to pay him a visit...

So it's a website? I remember a while back on a PC forum some guy ripped people off for thousands of dollars, on more than one forum too. They were buying custom cooling kits for overclocking computers i believe......

Yes. His site is audiomagus.com and he also goes by obad imports. This guy is a complete sham! His name is Sacha Kuettel    STAY AWAY from this guy as he WILL take your money...He still has over $1600 of my money and will not return calls or emails.

Looks like Sacha's business number is now disconnected... He answered his personal line today after monthis of trying to call him on accident and then hung up on me. How professional of him.

If Sacha is still breathing, I am sure that everything will be rectified, everything except the slanderous and fallacious remarks made by a few people here!

I had quite a few dealings with him in the thousands of dollars range and not once was I dissatisfied with him or his service.

Interestingly though, I happened to be in an audio shop in Langley earlier in the year and overheard that Sacha had passed away. It may not have been the Sacha in question, but one has to wonder just how many people with that unique name are in the audio industry.

What does his church have to do with the problem you had with him? They are not the issue.

There are many avenues available for you to rectify your difficulties, denegrating the man is obviously not going to get you anywhere.
