I ordered a pair of Gemme Audio Tonic speakers from Audio-Magus on 4/30 for $1400 and never received them. Looking back, I realize now that I was completely scammed by Audio-Magus and Sacha Kuetel. At first I was told there was a NAFTA paperwork problem, then later that the tracking number would arrive any day. I now believe this was all a ploy to extend the lack of delivery past 45 days, which is the deadline to submit a dispute for undelivered goods with PayPal. I have not received a single e-mail response or return call from Audio-Magus since 5/31 (yes, that is six weeks). I have tried to contact them multiple times via e-mail, company web site and phone. I have tried to contact both Audio-Magus and Obad Imports. I recently contacted Gemme Audio and ordered my speakers directly from one of the owners (outstanding service). The owner told me he has not received payment for the inventory he sent Audio-Magus either. Gemme Audio has since posted a warning on their FaceBook page that at least two individuals (I am one) have been "defrauded of thousands of dollars." I hope others post their recent experiences and contact me. If there is a critical mass of other victims, I would like to pursue legal action (on principal only, not to recoup my money), since Audio-Magus now appears to be nothing more than a criminal storefront for scammers, and the fact their web site is still online and taking orders is insulting. Learn from my experience. If Sacha and company want to clear their names, I am absolutely open to hearing a legitimate explanation and posting a follow-up. Also, I hope any moderator of this forum realizes this is not an petty attack on an online vendor, but a real, important, hard-learned alert/warning to other prospective buyers. Imagine having $1400 stolen...literally.
