Need Help with DIY Binaural Mic

Thread Starter
I am interested in making a binaural mic to measure the impulse responses in my room.

I have looked a bit on the internet, but I was a bit unsure of what all I would have to do and what kind of quality the finished product would have.

I would plan on hooking this up to the A/D section in my Art Dio, which uses 1/4 mono phone jacks for both left and right, and then using the digital out to my Delta Dio 2496.

I would appreciate any insight into how I could make a binaural mic, if it would be any good, and if I would be able to get decent results from my measuring of impulse responses from the setup I am planning. Thanks.

here's the MicDIYer's hompage:
http://home.earthlink.net/~gottapes/micdiyers/main.htm

tells you how to make a basic binaural mic with the panasonic wm60 capsule. you can find mods for this capsule all over the net.
here's the linkwitz mod

you're probably best off asking on the MicDIYer's list.
