Problem with Total Airhead...

Recently I bought a new Zune as my old's ones HDD crashed. Taday when I hooked up my TAH to it, I heard tons of hiss and the sound was bloated and there where no highs. When I switched crossfeed on/off I got major distortion. I tried swapping batteries and even plugging the TAH into the wall but nothing helps. A s a last resort I played my Ayre Tone disc to see if that would help and it didn't.

So do you guys know what's wrong with it? Sounds like it was overloaded and something blew out... Man this sucks.

What headphones were you using? Did you try and change the gain switch? If you have a directional cable make sure the input and output are going in the right direction. Other than that have you tries switching sources? And yeah, that does suck!

I tried a few, but it happened with the K701. Gain switch also emits hiss. My cable is directional and it's going the right way. I'm at a loss here. I would open it up but I'm not sure how much warranty I have left on it.

Unless you know what to look for and how to fix it I would leave it alone and see what the guys at HeadRoom think.
