Apple IEM - Not the most underated IEM on the market.

Thread Starter
I bought a pair , they are average at best. The best thing about them is the comfort , they are light and can be worn without fatigue.
The sound however is dull, it lacks dynamics and pace and the bass is a little light.
I also own custom 2 , CX95 , Custom 1, CX300 and various other lower end IEM and the C1, C2 and CX95 are better than the Apple in ears.

Disclaimer - just my opinion folks.

I was going to pick up a pair just for the hell of it, but I didn't. The CX95 are great for the money by the way.

Careful astroid, better don your flame suit.... You know it's coming.

But thanks for sharing your honest impressions. Sounds like something I wouldn't care for either.

Yep, this ought to be fun!

Uh oh...

I am not going to comment about the ADDIEM, but the C2 and CX 95 are very good value (in the UK).

Of course it's your opinion, and that's why it has a better than even chance of being dead wrong.

No one who likes the ADDIEMs expects everyone to like the the ADDIEMs, but (disclaimer, my opinion coming, and it's 50-50 I could be wrong) dull isn't a word I would use even if I didn't like them. Not even close. Maybe bass lite, depending on the tip, but not dull.

Either way, I see you are impressed enough with yourself to start an entire new thread, shouting your disdain for the ADDIEMs from the rooftop, rather than just posting on the already existing ADDIEM thread as a counter-opinion. Guess you just wanted to be heard.

You do realize people are paying $35 these days for these phones, right? The Custom 1s are $70 on Amazon, the Custom 2s are near $100, and that is at half price (even less so for the Custom 1s) based on their MSRP. So those are hardly "low end" IEMs.

No matter, I had the Custom 3s and thought they basically were crap (dull, uninteresting sound sig, bass poor), so I sold them within a couple of weeks. Other people like them, though, and that's great too.

Such a crafty dude, not falling for the FOTM Apples. Wow, it's amazing how you dodged that bullet. Incredible intuition. Spare me.

This has nothing to do with Apple crusaders, just some people who happen to like a low cost IEM. The OP posted that ADDIEM appreciation thread over a month ago. Only reason it's been so active of late is the price drop via ebay. Raiding the thread? Funny stuff. Do you work for the Colbert Report?

Here we go again. The #1 "thanks for sharing" cheerleader on HF. Get tired of hanging out on the PFE thread? (I love this stuff). No, I don't think you would like the ADDIEMs either.

No you didn't write my name, but you did want a flame war, didn't you? Isn't that why you posted your smug note about smartly avoiding been tricked into buying the ADDIEM? Didn't you want the "Apple crusaders" to attack, so you could have some fun, eating your popcorn? Well...
