| there was new Woo balanced amp there - the WA22. i tried my K701 (bal black dragon) on the amp. i listened to Spektor's fidelity, a track i know very well. i was totally engrossed in the music. this was an "A" level sound i was hearing. i then switched to the HD650, but the result was not the same - maybe a "B." Jack said the model was a prototype and that they were working on additional changes/improvements. i asked him if the amp could be made to sound excellent for both the K701 and HD650 and he seemed confident that this could be done. i hope that is true. if so, the WA22 should become a very popular amp with the balanced crowd. |

Holy Sh*t, I have just with 500+hrs burn in of my WA6SE and I love it so much. With all BG up-grade (mod by myself), bunch of output tubes (14 pairs) and rectifiers (13 pieces with Sophia Princess 274B included), I spent almost the same or higher the selling price of this WA22, what can I do?

On the bright side, your current rectifiers will work on the WA22, so you're already halfway there.

, no doubt of Jack's products are sounding good. But this WA22 is going to be released shortly is pushing me to the cliff since I found my 6SE is now really sounds wonderful with all my cans.
