BTW, signature confirmation only verifies that the item has been delivered, it is not a tracking service.
There is no disputing what you say however I have received largish packages this week US mail from both North Carolina and Michigan which both took about 5 days. If Justin only got around to posting the amp this last week then it makes sense. And still I have no receipt except for the deduction in my bank account. And his very short Email did not indicate the day It was sent.

I ordered my amp on a Saturday Justin returned from Florida the very next day and finally contacted me five days later and only after I posted here. Funny he has time to read head fi but no time to return emails. Just like the op mentioned.

Next time it's Ray Samuels for sure.
I remember you ordering an amp on Saturday, and I returned from traveling early Tuesday morning. The amp was in your hands Friday. I'm sorry if that is the worst thing you've experienced in your life.

The tone of your emails.... "Thank you. Sorry we got off on the wrong foot. Best of luck." and then when you receive the amp "WOW! OUTSTANDING!" is very different from what you post here. Which one is the real you?

By the way I replied to the OP's email before reading this. He had only left a voice message the day before which I hadn't listened to yet. Because I was building amps for 16 hours straight.

Those of you who are waiting, I have received information that HeadAmp products were shipped on the 16th. With the big snow here in the East and the Christmas holiday this week deliveries may well be delayed. Justin has not authorized me to disseminate this information and may well be even more angry with me than he was before. I am not usually a bothersome and nervous customer so I hope he will forgive me in time. Still looking forward to the Pico. And this experience far from ruining my life may help make me a more trusting person. Thank you Justin.

Rick,

I shipped all Picos before it started snowing so hopefully they will not be delayed...i assume that's what you're talking about.

I got over 100 built and shipped in under 2 weeks. I think that's pretty good but I'm looking at the whole picture not 1/100th of it. Trying to satisfy as many people as possible. Unless you ordered in the past few days when I changed the wait to 2 weeks (waiting for more batteries) then it has shipped to you.

I guess we're all spoiled by the automated shipping services by big internet sites out there. Here's to hoping that it will arrive Monday or Tuesday before I have to leave for the holidays. If not, then I'll have a nice present in the mail when get back.

Just to clarify are you stating that if you received a temp ban that you would react by creating a duplicate account with a new IP address?

My experience with Justin is typical of HeadAmp since I recieved so many private messages stating dissatisfaction. Tough if you don't like my tone I offers my opinion based on experience and the fanboys jumped in.
Well that is just the wrong attitude. Its one that isn't just disliked but seriously frowned upon. Just remmeber than while changing an ip address is easy for you, am sure sending you out on permanent vacation is just as easier if not more so for the mods.

That is just phenomenal. I still can't believe all the threads that have popped up complaining of your service. Perhaps the most down to earth person I have had the pleasure of meeting in this headphone community and I am no "fanboy" as some phony detractors like to pull that card out of their backside.

Instant gratification seems to be quite a bane of this generation. Whatever happened to Patience being a virtue.

Justin, thanks for the reply. Can't delete / edit the post above.

Not sure why I read this thread. Not sure why I am replying again. But if waiting a couple of weeks for an item from a boutique maker/vendor is tiring, I have to append this thread with:

"nothing to see here".

These people work hard with small staffs. If an amp can be ordered, purchased and shipped in the same month, I think that is cause for a lot of smiling and clapping. This ain't Sony who have off-the-shelf millions of products. It ain't Apple, nor anyone else. Bravo Justin for hitting orders within such a realistic window even around Christmas. Hope you get some time off.

Just chalk it up to anticipation, lack of information and unknown expectation. I didn't know until yesterday the amp did not go out until the 16th. I bought it on the 4th. Please try to forgive me as I was expecting it earlier in the month. If I had attempted Email (not my favorite mode of communication) earlier all of this would have been unnecessary. Justin has since established himself to be a thoughtful and gentlemanly corespondent. I regret any trouble I have caused him.

If you need to contact him I would try Email. Don't rely on the phone.

I am new to the headphone audiophile thing, but not to high end gear and such on a whole. I come though from a long history of dealing with boutique guitar/amplifier/effect builders.
I am loving this site, but I find it amazing how people expect to have these boutique makers get things done any faster. I have waited literally years, with little to no communication (maybe an update every 3 to 6 months) for guitar goods. On this site people cannot wait a month without being upset. I really hope, for the good of this hobby, that people begin to understand that it does take time to make these things. If these builders were to take the time to email and call every one back every time, the wait times would increase. More time responding, less time building.
When builders feel they cannot please people it becomes stressful and people stop building.
So in closing, all I hope is that the reputations of these builders (like Justin here) will hold more salt and threads like this will not become commonplace.
I hope no one takes this the wrong way, just a view from someone who has seen a lot of this, and wait times SIGNIFICANTLY longer than we have here.

Hear hear. ibis99 and RKlages, remember that an apology never entirely erases the original insult or 'misunderstanding'. Moderation and generosity of spirit are always prefererable to shooting from the hip, especially on a heavily subscribed forum like this!

Not trying to preach - just something that I have learned after 42 years of making similar errors...

I'm glad in this case I don't find your tone totally insulting or we may have a misunderstanding. So then I won't be looking for any apology. Oh yeah, I've been making mistakes even longer than you!
