So I had these for a couple days now. Last week I couldn't really find any reviews on them save for maybe 2. I really liked the aesthetics of these and how they were wired for my iPhone 3G. I also wanted a dynamic driver as I'm a self proclaimed basshead and didn't want to spend money on a dual driver phone.
So before these, I had NE-7Ms, Apple dual driver iem, superfi 4vi, and first gen vibes. I returned the NE-7Ms because the mic button was acting up. The sound was pretty good but for some reason, the sound sig was kinda weird for me. I currently still have the apples. The sound sig is geared towards the top end but I like the sq and the comfort. I only tried the superfi 4s for only a little but wasn't impressed at all especially with the high price tag. I thought the NE-7Ms and apples a lot better. Now for the metrofi 220s. These are my favorite by far. The sound sig is perfect for me and the sq seems good to me. I don't think a lot of people here will like them because they are bass heavy, maybe even more than the NE-7Ms. I just love love the warm sound sig of the 220s and the sq seems pretty good. I listen to mostly rock/alternative (but also hip hop, r&b, and pop) so it's nice to hear the separation of the different instruments. One thing that stuck out was that I could actually hear the bass guitar and drum beats a lot better. The only thing I have to complain about is ultimate ears silicone tips. They're just too big for my small ears and not really that soft. They are the same tips that came with the SuperFi 4vi's minus the comply tips. Other than that, I am completely happy that I took the dive to get these. I have no urge to upgrade now like when I had my previous phones. Oh yeah, I recently tried my friends UM2's and they are much better than the 220's but honestly, I have no urge to upgrade especially since they mate perfectly to my iPhone 3G

I posted this more or less to get other people to chime in about their 220s since I know there aren't many reviews out there yet. Let me know if there's any other info you guys want.
