Hi All!
My wife has an Ipod that she thoroughly enjoys. She has used it primarily at work for the past year. I know the stock ear buds pretty much suck but she was satisfied with them until recently.
We have moved our company’s offices and now her work environment has changed. It is now noisier and more distracting. To combat this, she now spends more time each day listening and now she is fighting a comfort problem with the stock buds.
We went to the local Best Buy to view alternatives. She had already dismissed my offer to use my Grado SR60s, saying they are too cumbersome. She looked at the Koss behind the head and clip-on styles but she didn’t care too much for those. We bought her some $20 Koss canal-style phones with foam ear pieces but these don’t fit too well either.
I’d spring for some Etys right now, but I’m concerned that she would find them to be a pain as she needs to remove the phones several times an hour for phone calls. Plus, with her relatively small ears, I’m concerned that these too wouldn’t fit.
For the record, she likes to listen to dance music and electronica. And, she does not have an amp of any sort so the phones will need to be driven directly.
Suggestions anyone?
Very best regards,
Steve
